Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, TradeRealm may collect the following information:

• Account information: username, email address, password hash, account role, profile preferences, and account creation date when you create a TradeRealm account.
• Roblox sign-in information: when you choose Continue with Roblox, we may receive your Roblox user ID, username, display name, and public profile/avatar information through Roblox OAuth / OpenID Connect.
• Profile and community information: avatar, collection, wishlist, trade listings, offers, completed trade counts, ratings, and other information you choose to add to your profile.
• Activity information: searches, item views, calculator activity, value mode selections, trade interactions, and other site usage events used to operate and improve TradeRealm.
• Technical information: browser/device type, referral source, approximate country information when available, session identifiers, cookies, and similar technical data used for security, analytics, and site functionality.

TradeRealm does not ask for or store your Roblox password.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure TradeRealm, authenticate users, maintain profiles, power trade and value features, calculate community trends and Realm Value signals, personalize the experience, detect abuse, improve performance, understand site usage, and communicate important account or service information.

3. Roblox OAuth

When Roblox OAuth is enabled and you choose Continue with Roblox, authentication is handled by Roblox. TradeRealm requests only the identity/profile permissions needed to identify your Roblox account and connect it to your TradeRealm profile. Your Roblox credentials are entered only on Roblox-controlled pages.

You may use the standard TradeRealm sign-in method instead when it is available. Linking a Roblox account does not give TradeRealm access to your Roblox password, Robux, purchases, private messages, or account-management permissions.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

TradeRealm may use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in sessions, preferences, security, analytics, and advertising. We may use Google services, including Google AdSense and Google consent tools, to display and manage advertising.

Where required, users may be shown a consent message and can manage their advertising/privacy choices. Google and other service providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and consent settings.

5. How information may be shared

TradeRealm does not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the site, such as hosting, analytics, advertising, security, or authentication providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, investigate abuse, or protect the security and rights of TradeRealm.

6. Public information

Some TradeRealm features are intentionally public. Your username, public avatar, rating, completed trade count, trade listings, and other profile information you choose to make public may be visible to other users. Do not publish information you do not want others to see.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and transaction history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Some aggregated or de-identified analytics information may be retained longer because it no longer directly identifies an individual user.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account information. Passwords are stored using secure password hashing rather than in readable form. OAuth secrets and other sensitive application credentials are intended to be protected server-side. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children and younger users

TradeRealm is designed around games that may be used by younger players. Users who are not old enough to consent to the processing of their information under applicable law should use TradeRealm only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. TradeRealm does not intentionally request sensitive personal information from children.

If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in a way that is not permitted by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict that information.

10. Your choices

You may update profile information through available account settings, choose whether to use Roblox sign-in, manage applicable consent choices, and request account or data assistance through the support/contact methods made available by TradeRealm.

11. Third-party services and links

TradeRealm may link to or interact with third-party services such as Roblox, Google, and external game-data sources. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. TradeRealm is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when TradeRealm features, legal requirements, or third-party integrations change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
